A smartwatch that will not charge is frustrating, but the cause is often simple.
Quick checks
- Clean the charging puck and the back of the watch with a dry soft cloth.
- Make sure the watch sits flat and centred on the charger.
- Try another charging cable and another power adapter.
- Restart the watch, then try again.
When it is the watch
If those checks do not help, the battery or the charging contacts may need replacing. Water damage can also stop charging. We repair Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch and Pixel Watch screens, batteries, buttons and sensors. See smartwatch repair or pick a new strap from our accessories.
